Abstract.
M&A is a team of four students from Brisbane Boys' College in Queensland, Australia. We have been selected to be a part of RoboCup 2019 after our success at the national competition in Melbourne in 2018. Through our documentation, presentation and this website, we intend to share the great technological advances in the hardware and software areas of our robots to all teams competing. Since nationals last year, our team has made leap in introducing a PCB to contain all sensors and micro-controllers, upgrading and increasing the number of motors and utilising a 360° camera.
Our Robots
The robots were built using industry technologies and incorporate populated Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to increase efficiency and reliability. The robots were programmed using the Arduino Framework. Each robot consists of two microcontrollers, a Teensy 3.5 and an OpenMV H7. The robots communicate via Bluetooth Modules to optimise gameplay performance.
